We’re only a few days away from September, bur for me the autumn feelings has arrived. And I’m a lover for autumn, it’s the season to get cozy.
Last July in Copenhagen I got to know the term ‘Hygge’.
” A Danish word that means cosiness. It is a feeling more than a word – it is a ritual of enjoying life’s simple pleasures and making the ordinary more meaningful, beautiful and special”.
Enjoying the little moments, like coming home from work or school and to get all cozy, put on some candles, cook dinner and have lovely time with the ones you love.
You can do this at any time of the day, it’s nice to start your day like this and to feel relaxed, especially when you’ve got a busy day planned. And of course when you get back home to snuggle up on the sofa.
To be honest, this is something I haven’t done in a few years, to take some time off and that’s really a thing I want to get back to.
Every year I love to change my room and make it more cozy during the more dark months. So secretly I’ve already started, I know it’s still August, but this weather just asks for it.
